This is Andrea just 10 days away from the finish line. She looks great and feels good too! The little basketball belly is perfect and we are so excited we can barely stand it.

The hospital bag is packed with books, massage tools, and a game boy. The car seat is ready to be strapped in and the baby’s clothes and sheets are washed. We will be spending the next few days waiting and trying to get everything ready for our little girl.
P.S. You might want to check here every couple of days because this is the first place we will put baby pictures.

Andrea you look soooo cute!! I was totally swollen all over by 39 weeks. Are you planning to do this thing natural or get the juice? I liked having an epidural (sp?) but wished I had waited a little longer to get it. Not sure if it makes a difference or not – but I pushed for 2 1/2 hours, after been in labor for like 10 hours (most of that time I was medicated – but I was still up all night). The epidural slows down labor some, but maybe it would have taken just as long anyway.
There are some things I wish I had at the hospital that I forgot – or didn’t think to bring. Give me a call sometime if you want all the details!

Wow! I am very impressed with how prepared you are!!! I was convinced James was going to come late because I measured small my entire pregnancy, so Andrew and I didn’t have anything ready (besides the car seat) when I went into labor–one week early! We threw clothes into a bag, along with our cameras, on our way out the door to the hospital. I don’t think we were as concerned since the hospital was just down the street from us. It is funny to think about now…but was annoying then. Next time we will be prepared and learn from your example…

andrea, i am assuming that you’ll be having an epidural, but let me second what nikki said. i only had it one way, but it was bad enough before they gave it to me. i will never try it without an epidural, at least not by choice (i would die if i had been nikki).
