A Day in the Life

In honor of Adelyn’s first birthday, here are some pictures of her first year of life. We love her so much, and are so glad she is part of our family! She is so full of life and energy, but she is also very sweet at times. She talks to mommy all day long, sucks her thumb, goes to sleep so well, LOVES when Daddy comes home, and makes us laugh all the time! She took her first unassisted steps yesterday, so we’ll see how long it takes for her to take off! We are so grateful for the blessing she is in our lives.

One Year!

Okay so I just had to add these in. We had pasta the other night, and she was being so funny! She was making all sorts of funny faces, throwing her arms up the air (“SO big”), and getting food EVERYWHERE. Hence the clothing came off.

She LOVES the bath, and would stay in there all day if I didn’t pour water over her head, which she thinks means it’s time to get out. She also loves after the bath, when she’s wrapped up in her towel in front of the mirror. She LOVES babies, and seeing herself in the mirror is really a thrill. She kisses her reflection over and over, and talks to it, gives it high fives, etc. It’s so funny.

Happy Birthday Adelyn! I can’t believe she’s a year old now, it seems like we were just seeing her for the first time at the ward Christmas breakfast!

It’s crazy how fast they grow and change!!! Those are some way cute pictures! I especially love the one where she’s kissing her reflection…so cute!

It is so crazy, everything you have said about Adelyn seems to fit Kirsi right now. The first steps, the bath, the sleeping, daddy, mirror…everything but the thumb sucking. I love it. THey are long lost cousin friends.
