A Day in the Life

I know that I am a proud daddy but I have been simply amazed lately at how beautiful our daughter is. When Andrea and I got pregnant we talked a number of times about how we were worried about having an ugly baby. It happens; sometimes beautiful couples have ugly babies. I know that parents always think their babies are cute, but people stop and tell us all the time how beautiful she is. Not only is she cute to look at, but she also has such a great personality. For example, Adelyn has this little orange monkey that came with one of her baby toys. Whenever she sees the monkey she starts smiling and more often than not, she starts giggling. Also if you hold her in front of a mirror she will look at herself, and then after a few seconds, she will start smiling and laughing. It is so fun! Because we just can’t get enough of her we have been taking lots of photos recentlyand some of them turned out so well we wanted to share them with you. All smiles and blue eyes are my favorites, though they’re all adorable. Adelyn really is gorgeous, no worries there. I worried about having an ugly baby too–like you said, it happens. So far I think he’s pretty darn cute though . I’m excited for him to get to Adelyn’s stage of smiling and giggling. Anyway, we want to get together with you guys soon, maybe sometime this weekend!

Of course, they are all so cute. But I love the Blue Eyes and it is closely followed by Funny Story. Who took those pics? They are so good.

We took them! Someday we will take her to get professional shots done, but for now we’ve just taken a ton of pictures, and Zac is fairly good at Photoshop and Lightroom, so he can do some editing to make them look great. I love it!
