The scary part about them being in the garage is if Sierra ever walked out of the house and into the garage I think the armadillo would eat Sierra. And with Julie out of town that would have been very bad... Sierra may bark like a big dog, but she is really a big sissy.

I have extensive knowledge about armadillos from go Diego go. I have heard they are very sensitive creatures who are good at relay races. I actually just showed savannah the pic you posted and she said ARMADILLO say it louder.....as you can imagine the song goes on. How hilarious I wonder if they were thinking about making the garage their new home??? new friends for Sierra?

I can't help but comment on this post. This was HILARIOUS! I didn't know armadillos actually existed except the animated ones on tv. Who knew they were so acrobatic and diseased? do they have sharp teeth? would they jump two feet to your knees and bite them to transfer leprosy to you? good luck with that.

Zac, Zac, Zac... it's not "armadillOs" it's "armadillAs" - best when used with a southern accent.

Sounds exciting - and scary! Do they really carry diseases? Not that wikipedia isn't a reliable source...
Michael Scott: Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject, so you know you are getting the best possible information.

Andrea - how's the baby?! I'm super excited for you guys. Check out our blog, we post pictures and I vent about my new mothering woes. Talk to you guys later!

You know, when I first started the article, I thought that the armadillo was going to be the reason why the lawn mower died. I suppose it is better that they simply wanted to chill in your garage for a while!
