i bought a tamron 28-75 2.8 and it’s pretty nice, though i also covet the real deal- the nikon 24-70 2.8… and it’s also $1800. so ridiculous. i rented the 70-200 2.8 for a wedding and it was so amazing, i shot everything with it. at least once in a while we can rent those nicies, huh? one day…

Lisa, I rented the lens from Dallas Camera. It is a little camera shop in the arts district by Parkland Hospital. The lenses are reasonable and if you rent on Friday and return on Monday it is only a one day rental. I rented the Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L series. It was awesome. You will have to go try some lenses and let me know what you think.
